The sphere of influence of the President of Afghanistan, which is essentially limited to the capital city Kabul, is ironically called »Kabulistan«.
The installation »Kabulistan« combines local and international viewpoints of the societal situation in Afghanistan with the help of films and photos. In its structure, the installation makes use of the presentation situation of the mobile cinema.
The photographs are taken from the series Urban settings and other kinds too.
