Contaminated Landscapes consists of two photographs. One is a still from the video installation Westerwald: Eine Heimsuchung (A Visitation), showing the destroyed forest after a storm. The second photograph is a close-up of a washed-out cement wall, taken in the corner of a barn - a patchwork with a grainy surface.
